ESL for Kids (Easy steps with tips!) [Demo Lesson] (Japan)

This video will show you how I teach ESL (English as a Second Language) to kids in Japan. Today’s topic is about animals. Here are the steps that I use in my class:

1. Greetings
2. Introduction
3. Teach the Keywords (cat, bird, frog, fish)
4. Drill
5. Game (for the keywords)
6. Teach the Target Expression (It’s a —.)
7. Drill
8. Game or Activity (for the target expression)

I included some useful tips for those who are just starting out as an ESL teacher. Be sure to check them out all throughout the video.

I hope this video helps you for whatever reason you may have. Use it for your demo, interview, or maybe your own class, too. If you have some questions, feel free to comment them down below.

Thanks again for watching!
