    My friend continues to claim she speaks Japanese. I played along with it until I said:

    “こんにちは”
    She said
    “Don’t make up words!”

    That was the day I found out she was using google translate.

    cant you just say "arigatou gozaimasu"? Got through Japan just saying this, although in Kyoto they preferred "Okini"
