【🇯🇵Japan Trip】A slightly different kind of train. If you're going to Mt. Takao, take this! Railfan

It is an introduction animation of Keio Liner Series 5000.
I rode from Takaosanguchi Station to Shinjuku Station.
This is an express like format.
It is a train designed for people who want to travel sitting down. It does not have reclining seats or toilets, but it does have Wi-Fi and electrical outlets.
I’m sick of crowded trains in Japan.
This train is a solution to this problem.
It costs about four dollars per ride. A separate fare is also required.
You can buy tickets at the ticket machines at Keio stations or at the counter. Many Japanese people do not speak English, so use DeepL to converse with them.

This video was also translated by DeepL.
If there are any mistakes, please point them out.
Is the word “transmotion” appropriate when the chair only rotates?

I also accept comments about anime, Vtubers, movies, etc. I’ll reply when I’m free. Or I can use it as a story for my video.

Very entertaining video, thanks for uploading and subbing this. I really love your travel vlogs and train related trivia and hope you continue to show us around Japan.

The rotating seats is super clever and I don't think I have seen such a feature before.

It is really creepy how empty the trains are. I remember when I was working in Nagoya for a summer, I could barely move when I got on the trains. How is the vaccine situation in Japan? I hope globally things will return to normal soon. Though for now, maybe you can enjoy having entire cars to yourself.

I'm surprised track widths aren't entirely standardized as it would be a huge disadvantage to build trains that can only run on certain company tracks. Also interesting that the conventional tracks are narrower. You'd think wider tracks are better for stability on turns.
